NIBOVI Disinfectant: Choosing the correct dosage for your Ultrasonic.
Using NIBOVI Disinfectant Powder in Other Ultrasonic Cleaners
Our disinfectant powder has been tested at a ratio of 20g of powder per 980ml of warm tap water.
Our Maris Ultrasonic makes this effortless, a detachable top for easy filling and emptying, and a fill line set to 980ml so you can measure accurately every time with our 20g scoop.
But we know some of you may have an ultrasonic cleaner from another brand. Rather than leave you guessing, we've put together some guidance to help you use our powder accurately in the equipment you already own.
Working out your ratio
| Tank fill volume | Powder required |
|---|---|
| 490ml | 10g scoop |
| 980ml | 20g scoop |
| 1.5L | 30g scoop |
| 2L | 40g scoop (2 x 20g scoop) |
Always measure your water rather than estimating, and use the correct scoop for consistency. If your machine doesn't have a fill line, measure the water before you pour it into the tank.
Usage guidance
To keep the solution performing at its best, we recommend running no more than two cleaning cycles within any one-hour period when cleaning throughout the day, and using the 90 second cycle. This keeps the bath operating at an optimal temperature for the solution to perform as intended.
A note on machine suitability
If you're using an ultrasonic cleaner supplied by another brand, always follow the manufacturer's instructions for that particular machine. If the manufacturer states their unit is designed for use with water only, or it doesn't have an internal basket to hold your tools, we recommend following their guidance and not using NIBOVI Disinfectant Powder in that unit.
