Getting Started

Charging

Connect the charging cable to the charging base, then plug into mains power.
Place the unit on the charging base and allow it to charge fully (approximately 3 hours).
A full charge gives you roughly 8–10 hours of working time.

Important: Do not leave your Luxe constantly on charge. Charge fully, then disconnect. Continuous charging shortens battery life.

Desktop vs. Portable use

Desktop: Keep the unit on or beside the charging base on your nail desk for everyday salon work.
Portable: The Luxe is cordless and lightweight, so it travels easily for mobile work. Use the included belt clip / holder to keep the handpiece secure and to hand while you work.

Inserting & Removing E-File Bits

Correct bit insertion protects both your work and the longevity of your handpiece.

Choosing a bit

Only use e-file bits designed for professional use with a standard 3/32" shaft.

To insert a bit

Make sure the machine is paused / not running.
Twist the collet to unlock it — turn it until it aligns with the unlock symbol. You should hear an audible click.
Slide the bit shaft into the collet. Never force a bit into the collet.
Leave a small gap between the base of the bit and the collet — do not push the bit all the way down so that it bottoms out. A bit pushed fully home generates excessive heat down the handpiece and can cause premature breakdown.
Twist the collet back to lock it — turn it until it aligns with the lock symbol and you hear an audible click. Gently tug the bit to confirm it's secure before use.

To remove a bit

Pause the machine and let the bit come to a complete stop.
Twist the collet to unlock it — turn it until it aligns with the unlock symbol and you hear an audible click.
Slide the bit out. Never pull or force a bit while the collet is locked.

Working with the Luxe

The Luxe is built for prep, de-bulking, and length reduction. For best results:

Always pair the e-file with a professional dust extractor and dust cap to reduce dust buildup inside the handpiece and protect the motor.
Keep the handpiece moving across the surface — let the bit do the work rather than applying pressure.
Use forward/reverse to keep a consistent angle as you move around each nail.
Switch off the machine fully at the end of each session — do not leave it sitting in pause mode.

Cleaning & Care

Your NIBOVI Luxe is a precision instrument. Following these steps preserves both its performance and its premium finish.

Daily / Weekly care

Wipe down the handpiece and control unit with a soft, lint-free cloth.
Use a lightly dampened cloth (water only, or 70% IPA) to remove surface dust and debris. Avoid the screen.
Never submerge the handpiece or control box in water or any cleaning solution.
Although the body, screen and handpiece are acetone/chemical resistant, avoid using acetone, harsh solvents, or abrasive cleaners on any part of the device as part of routine cleaning.

Cable care

Avoid wrapping cords tightly around the handpiece or control unit.
Do not tug or stretch cables when disconnecting — always hold the connector firmly and pull from there.

Only use power adaptors and accessories provided or approved by NIBOVI.

Do not open or service the machine yourself — doing so voids the warranty.

Use of unauthorised accessories or chargers, misuse, or use by untrained individuals will void the warranty.

Warranty & Support

Covered by a 12-month manufacturer warranty, effective from the date of delivery.
Valid for the original purchaser only and non-transferable.
Covers: manufacturer defects in materials/workmanship and faults with internal components such as the motor or power supply under normal use.
Does not cover: general wear and tear, cosmetic damage, misuse or accidental damage (e.g. dropping), use by unqualified individuals, unauthorised accessories/chargers, or repairs by anyone other than an authorised technician.

To make a warranty claim, contact NIBOVI with your proof of purchase (order number or dated receipt), a description of the issue, and photos or video if applicable.

Out-of-warranty repairs: NIBOVI offers diagnostic inspections, repairs, and part replacements. You'll receive a quote first, and work only proceeds once you approve it.
