NIBOVI Disinfectant: Choosing the correct dosage for your Ultrasonic.
Our disinfectant powder has been lab tested at a precise ratio of:
20g powder per 980ml of warm tap water.
Our Maris Ultrasonic has a detachable top and a fill line set to 980ml to allow you to easily fill and empty your ultrasonic and measure with our 20g scoop.
At NIBOVI we understand some of you have other branded ultrasonic cleaners. We wanted to help with some guidance to ensure you are using our powder accurately.
If you under-dose you risk:
- Reduced pathogen kill
- Lower sporicidal performance
- Surviving microorganisms remaining active in solution
- Potential cross contamination
If you over-dose, you risk:
- Damage to your tools
- Powder residue build-up
- Wasted product
- Altered pH balance from what was tested and approved
The most common measurement ratio combinations are:
If you are using an ultrasonic bath supplied by another brand, you should follow the manufacturer’s instructions for that particular machine.
If stated that their ultrasonic bath is designed for use with water only and does not have an internal basket for your tools we recommend that you adhere to their guidance and do not use NIBOVI disinfectant powder within that unit.
