To maintain peak performance and hygiene, follow these recommended steps for cleaning and caring for your NIBOVI Dune Dust Extractor:

1. Grill cleaning

Remove the grill from the unit. Wash it gently in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry promptly rather than leaving it to soak. Make sure it is completely dry before you reinstall it.

2. HEPA filter maintenance

Check the filter regularly for dust build-up. Tap it gently to release any loose particles, and for a deeper clean use a soft brush or a low-power vacuum. Avoid soaking the filter, as moisture can damage its structure and reduce how well it works. Only ever use one side of the filter, so do not flip or reverse it. Depending on how often you work and how many clients you see, plan to replace it every two to three months.

3. Exterior cleaning

Wipe the outside down with a soft, damp cloth. Use only non-abrasive, acetone-safe cleaners, and make sure the unit is fully dry before reconnecting the power.

4. Power cable care

The Dune uses a figure-of-eight power connector, which is designed to be connected and left in place rather than removed and reinserted repeatedly. Where you can, leave the cable plugged into the unit and switch off at the wall or extension socket when it is not in use. Try not to unplug the cable from the extractor itself on a regular basis, as the connector is not built for repeated removal and can loosen over time. If you do need to disconnect it, hold the connector firmly rather than pulling on the cable, and reinsert it gently until it is fully seated.

Change of Mind

If you have purchased DUNE through our website and have not opened or used the product, you are entitled to return it within 14 days of receiving your order, in line with your rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

* The product must be unopened, unused, and returned in its original packaging.
* Once opened and used, we cannot accept returns for hygiene and safety reasons, unless the item is deemed faulty.

Faults or Issues

If you believe your DUNE extractor is faulty, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order with the following:

* A written description of the issue
* Supporting photos or video showing the fault
* Your original order number & warranty number

If the product is found to be faulty (e.g. not performing as described, manufacturing defect), we will arrange a replacement, repair, or full refund as appropriate.

Please note: Perceived loudness, size, or user preference does not constitute a fault. All specifications including noise level, suction speed, and dimensions are clearly stated on the product page to help you make an informed decision.

Manufacturer’s Warranty: 5 Years

Every DUNE extractor is covered by a 5-year manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase. Your warranty card must be completed in full and include:

* The serial number
* The date of sale
* The seller’s signature

Warranty coverage includes:

1. The electronic components of the device.
2. Shipping costs for warranty cases are covered by the seller.
3. If the product is resold, the warranty remains valid only for the original warranty card holder.

The warranty does not apply in the following cases:

* Damage caused by foreign objects or liquids entering the fan.
* Failure to follow recommended filter replacement (every 2–3 months via the NIBOVI website).
* Evidence of unauthorised repairs
* Defects from transportation after purchase.
* Damage from natural disasters.
