Bit Cleaning Guide

NIBOVI Bit Care Instructions

For optimal hygiene, safety, and performance, clean and disinfect your NIBOVI bits after every use using one of the two methods below.

Ultrasonic Cleaning

Our MARIS Ultrasonic Cleaner paired with NIBOVI Disinfectant Powder delivers a 2-in-1 clean and disinfect step for faster more advanced cleaning.

Fill the MARIS with warm tap water to the max fill line and run a Degas cycle for 90 seconds.

Add the NIBOVI Disinfectant Powder and mix for one minute to activate, until fully dissolved.

Place tools into the ultrasonic (no pre-cleaning required), ensuring they do not overlap.

Select your cleaning cycle: 90, 180, 280, 380 or 480 seconds. For everyday tool cleaning we recommend the 90 second cycle, which delivers an effective clean while keeping the tank at an optimal temperature.

For Sporicidal kill, run your desired cycle time then leave tools fully submerged for 30 minutes.

Rinse and dry thoroughly immediately.

Manual Soaking

Wearing gloves, prepare your disinfectant solution in a suitable container: 980ml of warm tap water with one 20g scoop of NIBOVI Disinfectant Powder. Mix for one minute to activate, until fully dissolved.
Submerge tools and use the NIBOVI Pebble Brush to gently remove debris and buildup.
Once cleaned, leave tools fully submerged for a minimum of 60 seconds.
Rinse and dry thoroughly.

Important
* Do not leave submerged for longer than 30 minutes or you risk damage to your tools
* Do not overlap tools
* Do not leave to air dry
* Rinse and dry thoroughly
* For reusable professional tools only

Replacement: Replace every 2–3 months depending on usage and client volume. Discard any bits that appear worn — if a bit is taking multiple swipes or you're pressing harder, it's time to replace.

NIBOVI E-File Bits
Returns & Faulty Item Policy

If you wish to return your e-file bit(s), please contact us at customercare@nibovi.com within 14 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return:

* Items must be unused, unopened, and sealed in their original packaging.
* Returns must include the original packing slip.
* Returns received outside the 14-day window will not be accepted.

Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.
We strongly recommend using a tracked service and retaining proof of postage, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.

Faulty Items

If you believe you have received a faulty item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing customercare@nibovi.com with the following:

* Your full name and order number
* Description of the issue
* A clear photograph showing the fault
* Attached packing slip
Once reviewed, we will provide further instructions. If the fault is confirmed, we will offer a replacement or other suitable resolution at our discretion.

Please Note:

* Natural wear and tear is not considered a fault. E-file bits are subject to gradual performance reduction with use and must be replaced every 1-4 months depending on use.

* Damage caused by dropping, misuse, or mishandling of the bit is not covered under this policy.

* All tools must be used in accordance with NIBOVI’s professional usage guidelines.
