A simpler, more advanced clean
Our 2-in-1 high-performance disinfectant and detergent powder eliminates the need for a separate sanitising step, simplifying your hygiene routine while delivering a truly advanced clean.
Before you start
Check that tools are free from gross soiling (large, visible clumps or heavy residue). If present, rinse and scrub before immersing. A light covering of dust or debris is fine and doesn't need rinsing first.
Quick guide: Ultrasonic bath
- Fill the bath to the line with lukewarm water (30–40°C)
- Run a 90-second degas cycle
- Add one level 20g scoop and mix for 1 minute
- Submerge tools, do not overlap
- Run a 90-second cycle (30 minutes' contact time for spores)
- Rinse and dry thoroughly
Quick guide: Manual immersion
- Mix one 20g scoop into 980ml lukewarm water (30–40°C), stir for 1 minute
- Scrub tools with the Pebble brush
- Leave submerged for at least 60 seconds
- Rinse and dry thoroughly
Gloves are good practice when handling any chemical solution, though the powder is not corrosive to skin.
Cycle guidance
Your MARIS ultrasonic offers five cycle lengths - 90, 180, 280, 380 or 480 seconds. For everyday cleaning, the 90-second cycle is all you need.
Throughout the day (up to 8 hours): the 90-second cycle is more than sufficient. It keeps your solution stable and maintains a high level of active biocide. For spores, leave tools submerged for the full 30 minutes' contact time; otherwise remove after 90 seconds to rinse and dry. To preserve performance, run no more than two cycles in any one-hour period.
End of day: any cycle length is fine for cleaning and disinfecting, though the 90-second cycle remains optimal. The cavitation combined with our disinfectant and its surfactant delivers an incredible clean and a high-grade disinfect at the same time.
High volume use
In a busy salon where multiple staff share the same solution and ultrasonic, mix a fresh batch after 4 hours if it's used more than twice an hour. This keeps efficacy high so it continues to kill all pathogens.
Important
- Do not leave submerged for longer than 30 minutes or you risk damage to your tools
- Do not overlap tools
- Do not leave to air dry
- Rinse and dry thoroughly
- For reusable professional tools only
